The Committee on the Labour Market suggested that the government should look into the reasons behind the rising number of fatal workplace accidents and come up with solutions to reduce risks, especially in dangerous sectors like construction. The opposition, however, had put forward around 120 different proposals concerning workplace safety and working hours, which were not accepted.
