The opposition parties had put forward about 30 different ideas during the 2024 general motion period. These proposals covered various aspects of integration, such as changes to the settlement law, who should be included in establishment programs, specific integration efforts, and how to address social exclusion.

The Decision

The Swedish Parliament ultimately rejected all 30 of the opposition's integration proposals. Instead, they decided to continue with the existing work and policies already in place.
