During the general motion period, politicians submitted numerous proposals covering different environmental topics. Because the parliament considers the issues already addressed through ongoing work, it chose not to move forward with them.

The Decision

The Swedish parliament decided to turn down all of the approximately 120 submitted environmental motions. No new laws or policy changes will be implemented as a result of this decision.
