During the autumn of 2025, members of parliament submitted many suggestions for changing Sweden's fundamental laws. These included ideas about the monarchy, how political parties are funded, and how to protect minority languages.
The Decision
The parliament voted to reject all 83 proposals, meaning that no new laws or changes to the constitution will be implemented at this time.
