- The minimum prison sentence for extremely serious firearms or explosives offenses will now be 6 years, up from 4 years.
- The maximum prison sentence for regular firearms or explosives offenses will increase from 3 years to 5 years.
- These changes apply to illegal weapons, explosives, and their smuggling.
