During the autumn 2025 motion period, members of parliament submitted about thirty proposals concerning firearm rules, including weapon suitability, licensing procedures, and weapons amnesty.
The Decision
The Swedish parliament voted to reject all the submitted proposals regarding firearm issues, pointing instead to ongoing work from the 2022 firearms inquiry.
