During the general private members' bill period in the autumn of 2024, opposition parties submitted numerous proposals regarding school staff, safety, student health, and special needs.

The Decision

Following a vote in the chamber where 189 representatives said no and 92 said yes, the Swedish parliament decided to reject all of the opposition's proposals, pointing to existing regulations and ongoing work instead.
