Background & Purpose
During the autumn 2025 general submission period, various opposition parties submitted numerous motions regarding student financial aid terms and support for individuals with limited prior education. The political parties held differing views on how these study support systems should be developed.
The Decision
The Swedish parliament decided to reject all of the submitted opposition proposals concerning student financial aid, noting that existing regulations and ongoing government work already cover these areas.
Does this affect you?
