During the autumn of 2025, the opposition submitted over a hundred proposals aimed at changing how family support and parental benefits are managed in Sweden. These proposals were debated as part of the annual motion period.

The Decision

The parliament voted to reject all 104 proposals, choosing instead to rely on the work that is already being carried out by the government.
